The Business of Selling

Everyone likes to buy, but nobody likes to be sold.  So how do you create an environment where you get the chance to communicate your value proposition, and not sound like a “pushy sales person?”  It has been said that “buying is learning” and selling is teaching.”  We will help you learn what is really important to a perspective buyer.   You will learn how to communicate your ideas in a non-obtrusive manner, while earning the buyer’s trust and gaining a satisfied customer.

(Half day workshop: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

Topics Covered:

  • What people buy and Why they buy
  • Types of Selling
  • Selling Tools and Information Sources
  • The Sales Cycle
  • Complex Sales and Strategic Selling

We encourage participation by all attendees. Asking questions and sharing business experiences adds to the educational value you will receive. Get to meet other entrepreneurs and establish networks. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. We want all to be completely satisfied.

We now require pre-registration and pre-payment for all workshops. If you have met with a mentor, are in the SEAP program, or are registering for three or more workshops at once, please email us at greaterseattle@scorevolunteer.org for a discount code.
