Better Project Management for All -C0055

Are you a new project manager? Or you’d like to have more control over your projects? Or optimize your project’s results? Perhaps you’re a manager and you want to improve your staff’s project management skills. This workshop will teach everyone how to create a project schedule and monitor and control all your projects with better communication.

We will focus on three commonly-misunderstood aspects of project leadership. By the end of the session, you’ll:

  • Know how to create a complete, realistic project schedule;
  • Learn how to monitor an ongoing project using Earned Value Analysis [EVA]; and
  • Learn how to control the project through better communications.

This workshop can be a springboard for those who’d like to learn more through self-study. The concepts taught can be used for most projects: engineering design, construction, opening a new branch office, or simply planning an office party.

NOTE – Project Managers in the IT industry and those handling emergencies commonly use special PM techniques named Agile. This workshop will not cover Agile techniques.
