NCAEE Region 5 Conference

Be prepared for great sessions, high levels of engagement, meaningful material, items you can implement immediately, and amazing presenters who will captivate audience members from start to finish. All content areas will be represented, including math, reading, writing, arts, and music! It will be a conference like no other!

Featured Speaker: Jan Adams

Jan Adams is a master educator, loved by students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. She has danced since she was in elementary school and she studied ballet at the North Carolina School of the Arts, danced with North Carolina Dance Theatre, the National Tour of “A Chorus Line”and was a Ballet Mistress for the Ballet Theater of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas.

Jan has been teaching in the public schools for over 20 years and has her National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist. She served as the North Carolina Charter School Teacher of the Year in 2013-14. She loves teaching and helping children to express all they know and love with their bodies!  She will showcase best practices that cross all content areas and keep you up, moving, and learning!   

Event Agenda
Jan Adams will present the keynote twice, and participants may choose to attend either before or after dinner. During the other time slot, they will be able to choose from a variety of workshops on topics such as STEM, Writing, Math, Technology, Literature Circles, and more!

More About This Event
Participants will enjoy a boxed dinner while having the opportunity to network with other educators. A certificate of 2 hours of attendance will be given at the end of the event. You may submit this to your school system if they have approved this event for CEU credit. Door prizes will include gift cards, baskets, and much more!

Registration Fee:  $25  ($15 for High Point University Students or Faculty)

Registration Deadline: March 31, 2015

Payments/Refunds: Online registration and payment only. If you are not able to pay online or need help, please email Dr. James Davis using the contact information on the left. All payments are final. In the event that you have to cancel, you may transfer your registration fee to someone else if you contact us in advance.

It is not necessary to be a member of NCAEE to attend the conference.
