About Ethan Pierce
Ethan Pierce is a forest photographer, naturalist, and educator. He grew up in the Hudson Valley and has spent countless hours beneath the trees of the Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunk Ridge. He studied forestry at the University of New Hampshire and has traveled to forests in Finland, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Spain, Canada, and the United States. He currently works in the Adirondack Park as a professional forester and spends his free time searching for groves of old growth forest.
