2022 Wylder Conference 

The 2022 Wyler Conference will be held on September 17-18 at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North. The 2022 Wylder Lecture Series combines lectures, case presentations and question and answer time for informal inter- action with guest lecturers and peers in a one and a half day conference.

Location and Hotel Accommodations

This conference will be held at the Marriott Pyramid North in Albuquerque . A block of rooms has been reserved for participants for the nights of Friday, September 16, 2022 and Saturday, September 17, 2022 at $169.00 (plus taxes) for single occupancy. Special rates are available to you if you make your room reservations by 12:00 pm (Noon) MDT on August 16, 2022.

Cancellation

If you pre-register and cannot attend, NMPS will refund tuition, less a $40.00 administrative fee, provided it is received in writing on or before 7/19/22. No refunds will be issued after this date or for non-attendance. Conferences are subject to cancellation. In the event this conference is cancelled, NMPS is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by participants.

Poster Presentations

Please consider submitting a poster to showcase your work in clinical research, bench research, education or quality improvement that is intended to improve the care of pediatric patients.

Registration and attendance of the conference is encouraged but is not required to submit a poster. One of the authors of the poster must be present in person at the poster session in order to be eligible for submission.

Deadline will be Midnight on August 22nd, 2022. Posters will be judged by a combined panel of UNM and Presbyterian pediatricians selected by the Wylder Lecture Series Steering Committee. An Audience Favorite award will be selected on the day of the poster session. The poster must submitted electronically, but will need to be printed out and presented in hard copy – either 36 inches x 48 inches or 48 inches x 60 inches. Easel will be provided. Presenter must provide tacks or pins to hang poster.
