Prevention Academy
The Healthy Eastern NC Prevention Academy brings together Prevention Partners, MedCost Benefit Services, FirstCarolinaCare, Vidant Health System and local businesses, organizations and wellness leaders that are committed to establishing a strong wellness environment for Eastern North Carolina.
Prevention Academies are open to WorkHealthy America participant organizations free of charge.
At the 2015 Prevention Academy you can expect the following during our morning training:
- To be recognized for your wellness achievements in the past year.
- Interactive breakout sessions that will help your organization strengthen your healthy food environment, provide more physical activity opportunities, and promote comprehensive tobacco cessation resources to your employees
- Tips on stress reduction in the workplace and how promoting work-life balance
- Information on how to evaluate the impact of your wellness efforts
- Socializing and networking with other community leaders
A few details for registrants:
- Registration begins at 8:30am (light breakfast included) and the training will end by 3:00pm.
- Dress is business professional, although we will have two physically active breaks!
