Ivan Szanto has more than 30 years of experience in international trade, having served as CEO and Chief Operating Officer of a large import and wholesale distribution company, overseeing all aspects of its business. His responsibilities included personally training the 25–plus key employees of the firm, especially those handling foreign purchases, customs procedures and logistics. He is also well versed in manufacturing processes, as well as in trademarks and contracts.
In addition to his industry experience, Ivan has been a SCORE NYC small business counselor for the past 20 years and is knowledgeable about a wide range of issues in many different industries.
Toni Corsini is Senior Trade Finance Specialist and NY/NJ Regional Manager of the SBA office of International Trade at the US Export Assistance Center In New York City. Toni was previously VP and Manager of Trade Services Marketing and Communication for North America at a large global financial institution.
She is well known in the business and banking communities , having spenr may years in trade finance as a VP for commercial banks in both New York and New Jersey and as an export manager in the manufacturing sector. Toni also holds business and banking degrees and has conducted classes in international trade and finance at leading corporations and universities in the metro area.
Anastasia Xenias, Ph.D. has been with the US Department of Commerce for almost 20 years, currently serving as Senior International Trade Specialist and Global Team Leader in the New York US Export Assistance Center, responsible for the financial services, travel & tourism and fashion industries. Her responsibilities include managing global strategy aimed at attracting more international travelers to the United States.
Dr. Xenias holds a masters degree and a doctorate in political science from Columbia University and has taught at Columbia College and Hunter College, as well as served on a number of university and industry planning and oversight committees. An outstanding authority in her area, she is a regular contributor to both industry and scholarly publications.
Ken Witkowski has worked with international trade regulations and compliance for 28 years and is well versed in US export and import regulations. He currently serves as Director of Quality and Compliance for DSV Air and Sea Inc., where he is responsible for compliance with US federal regulations. He was formerly General Manager for World Tariff Services where he published tariffs for the Federal Maritime Commission and other governmental bodies.
Diane Newton, LCB – started career with Fritz Companies in 1994 in New York working data entry on customs entries. Obtained Customs Brokerage License in 1997. Through acquisition she started her career with UPS Supply Chain Solutions in 2001. In 2005 she was promoted to manager and relocated to Boston area. Currently a Brokerage Market Manager utilizing her compliance skills to assist in securing new business and implementation.
