Session 4
Google Analytics and Facebook Marketing

This session features an in-depth exploration of Google Analytics and how it functions as an invaluable tool to track your online marketing results. It walks you through how you can focus your marketing locally so that potential and existing customers in your area can find and learn about you through your web presence.

The session will also focus on the specifics of Facebook advertising and marketing. Facebook, along with other digital marketing platforms to be covered in Sessions 5 and 6, is an excellent way to help you build a fan base and grow your online communities.

At the end of this session, you will have the knowledge to:

  • Deploy Google Analytics to measure your results and gauge your market
  • Describe techniques and resources that enable you to focus on local search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Set up your Facebook page, ad account, Facebook Live, Facebook Video and Facebook Messenger
  • Define Facebook targeting, how and when to use Facebook’s filtering capabilities in the right context
  • Utilize Facebook analytics, including the custom columns feature, for your pages and ads
  • Implement Facebook Instant Articles to target specific audiences

This Digital Marketing Master Class is designed for those who are ready to take their Internet Marketing and Ecommerce efforts to a highly effective level. This six-session course is a certificate program. Individual sessions are offered as well.  

  • 6 sessions, 5 hours each (11am to 4pm, with one 30-minute lunch break)

discovered the internet in 1994 and has pursued
 Digital Marketing ever since. The founder of two Digital
 Marketing startups, he has represented The Disney Company,  The Microsoft Corporation, MTV, Sony Music and many more.  

 

Kenny Soto 
Kenny Soto is a millennial digital marketer learning Social Media Kenny Soto photo Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Video Editing & Production, and more. Currently a new teammate at VaynerMedia, Kenny provides his digital marketing expertise to coordinate between media buying and media planning teams to ensure execution of all tasks. He provides pro bono marketing services for SCORE NYC and assists in mentoring sessions for clients who need specific expertise in digital marketing. 

Kenny's focus is to acquire as much knowledge in data science and media as possible, before pursuing a career in civics, policymaking, and jurisprudence. Starting off as a Campaign Manager or as an assistant to a Communications Director.
