Overview
Owning a business is a major goal for many, but often it never actually comes to fruition. This workshop is designed to highlight the opportunities the franchise business model offers to those looking to be their own boss, financially independent, and who need a strong support system to help them succeed.
The idea of franchising may conjure thoughts specifically of fast food restaurants, but the variety of businesses available runs much, much deeper. Still, there are only some franchise brands that have proven to be successful, not just as a corporation, but for their individual owners as well.
We’ll discuss how franchising works, what makes a good franchise owner, and – everyone’s biggest question – how much money can you make in franchising. We’ll also hear from actual franchise owners on how they found their business and what the experience has taught them about franchise ownership.

Eric is an active member of the International Franchise Association (IFA), serves on the IFA’s Franchise Relations Committee and speaks on topics related to franchise relations and best practices in franchising.
