Meeting Your Needs with the Entrepreneurs Roundtable
Who should attend?
New participants only must preregister to ensure you meet the criteria for the series that best meets your needs as a small business owner.
Please contact Roundtable Facilitators to be screened for this unique series: Jerry Weinstein (weinstein@scorenyc.org) or Steve Kessler (kessler@scorenyc.org)
Overview
This series of roundtables offers the opportunity to learn from advice offered by other small business owners with similar experiences. It can constitute an advisory board that encourages a specific decision or direction, a “call to action” in a supportive manner.
In addition to benefitting from peer-to-peer advice and learning, RT participants choose several topics of special interest to be discussed over the six-session series, each facilitated by a subject matter expert as guest speaker. Member selected topics from past RTs have included: acquiring and retaining customers, leadership challenges in growing your business and shaping its culture, financial planning and control, office productivity/time management and work/life balance issues
The ideal RT group is comprised of 12 business owners. This group size provides an ample diversity of business types, a small enough group to promote active discussion, yet large enough to be effective even with unavoidable absences. All Roundtable sessions are facilitated by SCORE Mentors who are experienced facilitators and leaders.
