Perfecting Your Pitch - 02/21/2020 - C1000

Duration:  4 hours

Who should attend?
Startups and small businesses who want to close
the sale, whether it is to potential buyers of their products and services, lenders, or investors who
are considering funding their growth.

Description:

What makes for a great pitch? Why do some pitches nail the opportunity while others, well, miss the mark?

Great pitches are more similar than not, whether you pitch to buyers, lenders or investors.  They are all about knowing your audience, crafting the right messaging and delivering them impactfully. But end goals can differ with your audience and this can shift the way you structure and deliver your pitches.

Experts with more than thirty years of finance and marketing experience will lead this hands-on workshop. It is structured around a series of small group exercises designed to hone your ability to craft the perfect pitch.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this interactive workshop, you will be able to:

  • Understand the key elements of a great pitch, whether given in person or online
  • Craft a compelling and relevant story about your product, service or business
  • Use feedback productively to strengthen your pitch
  • Deliver your pitch powerfully to achieve your end objectives
