Whether you sell services or products, is selling to other businesses a part of your business model or strategy? If not, it should be. Find out how you can grow faster by leveraging other businesses’ scale, resources and distribution channels and by tapping the $23.9 trillion global B2B ecommerce market.

A Content Rich Day

This all-day conference, sponsored by Alibaba.com, kicks off with an exciting keynote address by Ruth Stevens who consults on customer acquisition and retention for consumer and business-to-business clients. She has held senior marketing positions at Time Warner, Ziff-Davis, and IBM, as well as two startups. Ruth teaches at the NYU and Columbia Business Schools, and lectures at business schools around the world. She is past chair of the Business-to-Business Council of the DMA and was named one of Crain's 100 Most Influential People in Business Marketing. Ruth is the author of B2B Data-Driven Marketing: Sources, Uses, and Results.

Attend a panel discussion and workshops on how to identify and target customers; strategies for expanding the distribution of your products to new markets and customers; and ecommerce tools and strategies for increasing buyer traffic to your website.

A Pitch Competition

Join a business pitch competition with total cash prizes of over $12,500. If your business can use an extra $10,000, CLICK here to download detailed rules and regulations and learn more about the competition.

Or, if you prefer, watch the business pitch competition on March 27 and help select the winners using a live voting app with your mobile devices.

Who Is Eligible To Compete

Businesses selling physical products with revenues and profits for at least one year are welcome to compete. You must also be registered to attend this event. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a Business Plan template you must fill out and return to SCORE no later than Friday, March 6.

The completed business plans will be screened by a panel of judges and eight businesses will be invited to give one minute pitches on March 27. Prize winners will be chosen in front of a live audience using mobile phones during the event.

This full day event is a joint initiative of SCORE NYC and New York Women in Business, and sponsored by Alibaba.com who is providing the cash prizes.
