Fundraising Strategies for the Digital Age

Target Audience: Leadership, planning, communications, fundraising, and development staff.

The current fast-changing, always-on digital reality demands ever-more creative approaches to fundraising - to grab attention, to pique curiosity, and to inspire action. Join us for an interactive, participatory workshop with nonprofit marketing and fundraising expert Julia Campbell to learn specific strategies to engage with donors in the digital age. Julia will show you how to use compelling storytelling on digital channels to build a vision of hope, to make deeper connections with supporters, and to drive donations for your organization. As a result of this training participants will be able to identify specific ways to acknowledge and cultivate their donors using digital strategies like websites, email newsletters, and social media platforms. The session will cover:

  • The foundations of a donor relations program that works in the digital age
  • How to use your website and email to attract and retain donors
  • How to use social media and video to build a community of engaged supporters

Presenter: Julia Campbell is on a mission to make the digital world a better place. Through speaking, training, and consulting, she shows social purpose organizations how to use social media and storytelling to build communities, showcase impact, and advance their causes.
