Stead Family Children's Hospital Tour 

During the one hour guided tour, learners will gain an understanding of the impact to clinical workflow and efficiency of the inpatient units that technology has provided. Technology that will be clinically highlighted during the tour are: Nurse Call and Drew’s lamp (custom lighting feature).

Tami Pollari provides administrative leadership and directs operations, programs, and services of the Patient- and Family-Centered Services (PFCS) division at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. PFCS service lines include family-centered care, child life, and community outreach and injury prevention. She is responsible for building and sustaining a culture that fosters patient- and family-centered pediatric health care. Tami co-chaired the WOW! committee, which was responsible for developing the ideal patient and family experience around which UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital was designed and built. She ensured that patients and family members actively participated in the design and operations planning for the new UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Tami received her BSN, MSN, and MBA degrees from the University of Iowa.
