Level 2 - Jenda's Intermediate Recreational Kayaker
This course is for those of you who have your own kayak or have been borrowing
for a while and have the basic skills to get into and use your boat, but are looking to
progress your paddle and safety skills to be more efcient and prepared on the water.
This course will review the basic paddle strokes and rene them, as well as add a few
more advanced strokes to help progress your skills as a kayaker. We will also practice
some emergency procedures so you are prepared for that unlikely situation of
capsizing.
Participants for this course should come prepared for a day on and in the
water. Quick drying clothes and/or a swim suit and towel are a must.
Participants should also bring their own boat or if they are still mooching off of others you can
continue mooching off of us for an extra fee.
Duration: 8:30 am - 12:30 noon (4 hours)
Fee: $50.00 + HST = $56.50 (Club Jenda Members receive a 10% discount)
