This two-day program is designed to bring together healthcare providers, consumers and the general community to share information about resources and treatments available in California for individuals with sickel cell disease and thier families.

Who Should Attend

Consumers: Adult persons with sickle cell disease, spouses of individuals with sickle cell disease, parents, guardians and family members of children/adolescents with sickle cell disease.

Health Care / Social Service Providers: Physicians, nurses, social workers, sickle cell counselors, health educators, genetic counselors and other allied health professionals.

Registration fee (due by August 24th):

Physicians: 2 days - $160  / 1 day - $100

Nurses/Social Workers/Other Health Providers/Teachers: 2 days - $80 / 1 day - $50

Consumers - persons with SCD, parents & family members: 2 days - $30 / 1 day - $20

Children (ages 3-12): 2 days - $15 / 1 day - $10

Late Registration (After August 24th)

Please add $20 to the registration fee for each group. A late fee will not be assessed for children (3-12).

Cancellations/Refunds

A $10 processing fee will be deducted for refunds before August 24, 2012
