Panel Discussion Leader: Tracey Vaughn
Tracey is the Executive Director of the Community Development of Durham (CDCD), a social planning council dedicated to social justice and inclusion since 1970. In addition to their social planning function, the CDCD has a strong settlement service delivery component. The CDCD delivers the Immigrant Settlement and Adaptation program, the Newcomer Settlement program, the HOST program and the Settlement Workers in Schools program.
Dr. Balliram Chadee
Dr. Chadee has extensive background in mediation, conflict resolution, crisis auditing, cultural diversity, counseling, social services, arbitration, family support, newcomer immigrant settlement, women and youth integration services. Recognized as one of the Top 75 Immigrants in Canada and recipient of the Governor General Caring Canadian Award and Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship among many others for contributions towards problem resolution and service delivery of plans, concepts, data research, evaluation of strategies, support and rehabilitation initiatives to youths, seniors, women and visible minority groups.
Esther Ford
Esther is the owner and operator of Cultural Expressions Art Gallery located in Ajax's Pickering Village community.
Cultural Expressions is an art gallery promoting new Canadian artists, photographic art and artistic pieces from around the world. An active member of the Ajax community, and in business for nearly 5 years, Esther will share her experiences, challenges and advice on starting and managing a business.
Jennifer Fay
As a branch manager with CIBC Durham Centre, Jennifer Fay provides access to a comprehensive range of services to help you build and protect your wealth.
