PNCR training events are available at no cost to parents, family members, caregivers, and community members whose children and loved ones have disabilities. We encourage and welcome professionals working with children and families to attend however, please remember, PNCR trainings are NOT designed or intended for use as professional development training hours. It's All in the Way You Say It: Communicating Effectively with Your Child's Educational Team

 

The research is clear, when parents and schools work together, kids are more successful. This workshop will highlight essential elements of effective communication that are critical for positive home/school relationships. Participants will learn simple, practical steps for working with their child's educational team to build effective communication and more effective IEPs.

Occasionally, winter weather creates hazardous driving conditions making it necessary to cancel PNCR training events. When this occurs, every effort will be made to notify registrants of the cancellation a minimum of 2 hours prior to the training start time. Registrants will be notified using the phone number and/or email address provided during event registration.
