Preschool Special Education Process

(2 part training series)

This presentation is designed to help participants gain a foundational understanding of the Preschool Special Education process from referral to evaluation, eligibility, IEP development, special education programs and services, annual review and concluding with the transition to kindergarten.

Through examination of NYSED regulations and policy, each participant will gain an understanding of the role of the CPSE Chairperson, the County, the evaluator and the parents in the preschool process.
