We would like to thank the following sponsors of this year's conference:
American Lung Association of the Northeast
Maine Association of Nutrition and Dietetics
Join us at Maine's premier Professional Public Health event, the 29th MPHA Fall Conference. We will be partnering with various organizations across the State to bring the highest quality of education, innovation and inspiration to those that work in and around the field of public health.
This year's event will bring together approximately 300 public health professionals throughout the State and will feature 12 breakout sessions focusing on innovative prevention strategies, the latest research and model policies and collaborations.
We are pleased to announce that Regina Davis Moss, PhD, MPH, MCHES the Associate Executive Director of the American Public Health Association will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Moss will discuss how integrated public health policy creates value on a local, state and national level. She will also be presenting APHA's new HiAP toolkit which will be released this summer and how it can be used as a strategy for addressing health equity. Visit the APHA website to learn more.
We will also be presenting two of our annual service awards at this event which highlights programmatic and policy leaders in our field.
Consider also joining us the day prior to the conference, October 21st, for an afternoon of learning about public health policy and advocacy.
