Special Invitation: The conference is open to everyone and there is no registration fee, however the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board encourages participation from Tribal Elders, Tribal Health Programs, Tribal Leaders, Public Health Professionals, and Native American community-based health service providers.

April 11th --- PRE-CONFERENCE TRAINING

Data into Action and Proposal Development are now filled.

If you have registered for the conference and plan to attend the pre-conference training you must also register for the training and select the training you are attending.
Space is limited for some trainings.

NOW FILLED --1:30 pm to 5:00 pm -- Proposal Development for American Indian Communities: (Open to 25 attendees) bring laptop/tablet for hands on interaction.  Please Note: This training will continue on April 12 from 1:15 pm to 5:00 pm. 

8:30 am to 5:00 pm -- Public Health Accreditation: "Not Just a Bunch of Rules Telling You What to Do". 

8:30 am to12:00 pm -- Tribal Avatar Simulation Training: Building skills to support tribal youth engaged in risky and problematic behavior (Open to 30 attendees) bring laptop/tablet for hands on interaction.  

1:30 pm to 5:00 pm -- Survey Design and Administration in Public Health Practice. 

8:30 am to 5:00 pm -- Veterans Administration Training: Part 1 - Initial Claims; Part 2 - Mental Health Treatment.

Poster Sessions
On behalf of the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board and the Oklahoma Area Tribal Epidemiology Center, you are invited to present your research at the 9th Annual Oklahoma AreaTribal Epidemiology Center Tribal Public Health Conference.

Research will be presented in a poster format on Wednesday, April 12th, 2017, at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, OK.Those presenting in all arenas of research pertaining to American Indian Health are encouraged to apply by 5pm CST on March 16th, 2017.

METHOD OF PAYMENT - Individual guests will be responsible for making their own room reservations, that include tax and incidentals with a major credit card or debit card.

The room block will be held until March 12, 2017. In order to obtain your special group rate, the guest need to identify the 9th Annual Tribal Public Health Conference.

GROUP ROOM RATES - We are pleased to offer the following group room rates based on single or double occupancy. All rates are subject to six percent (6%) Tribal tax.
Single Rate: $89.00  Double Rate: $89.00

INDIVIDUAL GUEST (CHECK IN/CHECK OUT) - Check in time is after 4:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. Late checkouts are subject to a penalty fee of room and room tax for an additional evening. If guests arrive before their room is ready or their departure is later than the 11am checkout, the RESORT Bell Desk will be happy to store luggage for guests’ convenience. A major credit card or debit card is mandatory at time of check-in for incidentals.

GROUP ARRIVALS - It is understood guests will arrive and depart the RESORT on an individual basis, check in directly at the RESORT's front desk.

INDIVIDUAL GUEST ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY - Individual cancellations inside 72 hours of arrival shall forfeit any room deposit (if applicable), or be billed for one night’s room and tax. In addition, one night’s room and tax will be billed for   guest who fails to check-in on the scheduled arrival date. Any remaining nights of a “no-show” reservation will be canceled and all deposits forfeited.

Vendor Information

Set-up time 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM on April 12th and April 13th. Tear down time 5:00 PM on April 12th and April 13th. Upon arrival all Exhibitors need to sign in at the Registration Booth at the Event Center for booth assignment and donated item drop off.

Each booth will have 1 table and 2 chairs. Tables are 8 ft. long. Wi-Fi is available.

Booth Fees:
$40.00 for 1 day plus a donated item; fee includes lunch for 2 for one day. 
$80.00 for 2 days plus a donated item; fee includes lunch for 2 for two days. 
Booth fee is non-refundable send booth fee and form by April 1st to reserve.

Booths will be assigned by type of booth and when payment and registration form are received.

Only 25 booths will be available for this event. Please call us for instructions if you want to have booth items shipped to the hotel. Vendor walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
