Bear - STEM Make It Move Badge

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. 
Those that registered already should have recieved and email on 3/30/2020 annoucing the cancelation (check spam folder if you do not see it). Refunds for the event have already started processing. We have added those who have registested for this event to a mailing list for if & when we have a new date for this event.

At Victory Raceway, we are committed to making an impact on the youth in our local communities. That's why we have partnered with the Boy Scouts of America to provide a fun, and interactive way to earn badges while learning about STEM education concepts.

Scouts will be broken up into groups of 12 and rotate through 4 stations to earn their Make It Move Elective and Belt Loop. 

• Balloon on a String: Newton's 3rd Law of Motion - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
• Pulleys: Demonstrate and explain the function and benefits of a pulley
• Sailboats: Observing the way sailboats use wind power to propel forward
• Racing: Each scout will get racing instruction and one race on a 1/4 mile track

The Program costs $25 per child and includes a race & Cub Scout Engineering badge. This is a 2 hour program, going from 9am - 11am. Children must be 6 years old and 50" tall to be able to race. 

We also encourage children who are NOT in cub scouts to sign up for these programs as well! Girls, Siblings, Friends, and children who are interested in STEM are welcome to sign up!

If you are a Parent/Troop/Pack leader and need to register and pay for more than 5 scouts/children yourself, please contact jordan@kartingstl.com.

Registration will close the Wednesday (April 29th) prior to the event as we need a proper head count. We cannot add scouts after that date.

There are no refunds if event is not attended due to how fast these events fill up.

THIS EVENT IS FOR BEAR SCOUTS ON MAY 2ND. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THE RIGHT PROGRAM AND DATE, AS WE CAN NOT SWITCH YOUR SCOUT TO A DIFFERENT EVENT OR GROUP ONCE THEY ARE REGISTERED DUE TO HOW POPULAR THESE PROGRAMS ARE.
