United Ballona Creek Cleanup - NORTH SIDE with Ballona Creek Renaissance
After the first rains of fall, Ballona Creek needs extra help. Friends of Ballona Wetlands & Ballona Creek Renaissance have partnered to tackle the trash! Join us to cleanup the NORTH side of the creek!
Registration: Registration is required. You must also sign a waiver.
Parking: We encourage biking, walking, and carpooling to the event. If you need to drive, park at Fisherman's Village: 13755 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292. The cost for 0-2 hours is $2 and for 2-4 hours is $4. Then walk south down Fiji Way to Ballona Creek.
Ages: Activities are recommended for ages 7 and up.
What to wear: Close-toed shoes are required! We recommend dressing in weather-appropriate layers that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty, along with a hat.
What to bring: Please bring your own full water bottle. We also recommend sunscreen and feel free to bring your own reusable gloves and bucket. We will provide all cleanup supplies.
Cancellations: For safety, we must cancel if it’s raining. Please check the weather before arriving. If you’re not sure, please call us or check our social media for cancellation announcements.
Donations: The suggested donation is $5 per person. By donating online so you can keep helping with cleanup even after you leave!
