Cloud Best Practice: Compliance & IT Security, the Human Factor.
Presenting an opportunity for a limited number of delegates and guests to hear about how Cloud best practice relates to compliance and IT security and the effect each may have on our future as individuals and collectively.
Smart Harbours supports The Rotary Foundation and together with Resilience Technology Corporation (Resilience) sponsors a cruise on the Chesapeake and Annapolis Harbor to which all attendees are invited. There will be drinks and snacks provided. Those who wish to donate to The Rotary Foundation may do so at the door to the club conference facilities where Mr. Michael Binko will introduce the subject of The Human Side of Compliance. Donations are, of course, voluntary.
Michael P. Binko is CEO of kloudtrack and is passionate about keeping employees aware and up to date with key compliance issues as they impact operations "In The Cloud" and the associated security associated with the ever changing environment of compliance and legislation. This applies not just in major corporations and even key industries but also in significant numbers of small to medium sized operations that make up the bulk of any industry. Such "SME's" are not necessarily as strictly subject to regulation and compliance but through industry affiliation there is no tolerance of ignorance of the issues and none is relieved of their obligation to cooperate in day to day operations and from time to time in regulatory audits.
Registered guests should assemble at 1:45pm in the club dining room for a brief introduction by Resilience and when our speaker is finished you will be invited to board the boat at 2:30 or so for the cruise. We will provide drinks and snacks, you can enjoy the experience as we chat together with delegates and guests who will be encouraged to mingle and arrange for whatever kind of personal follow up to the event they may consider appropriate.
