Please join us for a free Electric Vehicle First Responder training webinar September 9th. The Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition has partnered with the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) to offer the webinar which will be presented by an experienced trainer that is also a Captain in the Indianapolis Fire Department.
Meet Chris Womock...an accomplished First Responder Trainer:
Chris is a Captain with the Indianapolis Fire Department with 28 years of fire service experience. He has been with the Indianapolis Fire Department for almost 24 years. During that time serving as a Lieutenant on an Engine and as part of the Fire Administration in the Special Ops Division as the Rescue Coordinator.
Chris has been responsible for 15 Extrication tactical teams. He is currently finishing his Associates degree in Fire Science and is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors in Fire Administration.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Electric vehicle training for First Responders was the first Train-the-Trainer class Chris attended. West Virginia's National Alternative Fuel Training Consortium (NAFTC) First Responder course was the second. The NAFTC course provided Chris the tools needed to educate other first responders on how to work with Alternative Fuel Vehicles when involved in emergency situations.
During the past 5 years Chris has been teaching the First Responder course at classes across the country, from California to the National Fire Academy in Maryland, for NAFTC.
