Daytona State College will be hosting its Sixth Annual Academic Excellence Symposium on Friday, April 25, 2014.  Held on the college's  Daytona Beach Campus, the symposium features presentations and roundtable discussions addressing issues of interest to those in higher education.  

The intent of the 2014 Sixth Annual Academic Excellence Symposium will be to open discussion on the topic of Paths to Learning through Discovery and Exchange. The purpose of the theme is to explore the relationship between the student and the teacher and the relationship between the course and the student. The central question of this year’s symposium is "How do we promote and nurture academic excellence within ourselves and within our students?"  

We encourage anyone interested in a scholarly discussion of education and research to attend. Join us to hear highly respected professors.
