1st Annual Suburban Maryland Transportation Awards Dinner -- Let's Get Maryland Moving Again!

Please join me, the Board, and members of the Suburban Maryland Transportation Alliance as we present our first "Transportation Heroes" award to the entire ICC Project Team, led by Melinda Peters (recently named Maryland's new State Highway Administrator).  Join us as we celebrate their on-time completion of the Inter County Connector, one of the most historic milestones in Maryland transportation history, and look ahead to the next round of transportation investments and how to pay for them.  

Our focus for the coming year is on lining up the funding we'll need for the next round of major projects -- the Purple Line, Corridor Cities Transitway, improvements to I-270 and hundreds of other bridges, intersections and transit projects throughout the state, to help reduce congestion and put Maryland's construction industry back to work.   Your support for SMTA will help us get Maryland moving again, by investing in these and other projects that are so important to our future economy.
