Starting a new business can be daunting. The right plan can help you turn great ideas into great products and services and keep bad ideas from losing you money. 

In this half-day workshop, you’ll get started on your own new business plan, laid out on a single page, and create a draft to take home. You will receive hands on instruction and guidance to:

• Hone in on your Target Customer
• Articulate your Unique Value Proposition
• Project your Revenue Streams and Cost Structure
• Determine your Breakeven point

You’ll also find out what to do next to get your business idea off the ground, and where to discover resources to help you on your way.

This workshop is recommended for anyone who is about to start a new business or just thinking about it.

Instructor Bio:

Mariann Zylstra spent two decades as a commercial banker and financial services executive, helping businesses of all sizes in structuring optimal financing packages, budgeting, forecasting and managing cash flow.  She has served businesses in a wide variety of industries as a trusted advisor on multiple business issues, with the last 10 years spent in an executive role leading sales teams with profit center management responsibilities.  She has also served as Executive Director for two nonprofit organizations as well as serving on multiple nonprofit boards.  Mariann has an MBA from Indiana University.
