This workshop focuses on the components of a successful business plan:

• Clear, succinct writing style
• Compelling business description
• Importance of market research
• Effective development of meaningful financial projections

The plan consists of four sections: Business Description, Management and Operations, Marketing and Sales, and Financial Projections. Also included is an application for funding along with a discussion of conventional and alternative funding resources.

The workshop teaches you to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your business and your competition. It will help you determine the overall feasibility of the plan. The important aspects of starting and operating a business will be discussed along with applying financial data to the decision processes.

The program includes handouts that are valuable resources in writing a successful business plan.

About Our Instructor

Susana Capper is the founder of Discover Spanish Life. With a Spanish mother and an English father her education was split between years spent in the UK and Spain.Today, Susana spends her time between homes in Atlanta, Georgia and Bilbao, Spain. 

For over 25 years Susana worked as an executive mainly in Finance and Operations, in many roles and in multiple countries (including as CFO and COO in the USA, China, Sweden, Spain and the UK) with corporate giants such as Sony, Ericsson and the Coca-Cola Company. 

In 2014 Susana left her corporate job as CFO America with Sony Mobile Communications, in order to undertake a new career path. As well as working with Discover Spanish Life, Susana volunteers as a certified SCORE mentor, an organization whose goal it is to help entrepreneurs start up and grow their businesses.
