About Our Instructor

Cheryl Smith is a Small Business Owner and Adviser in Metro Atlanta where she leverages her industry knowledge to help business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits build capacity and grow or remain fiscally sound.

She is a State Approved Professional Trainer (Licensed by Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning), as well as a SCORE Certified Mentor.  Cheryl earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and her Master's degree from Kennesaw State University. Her graduate degree is in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration.

Cheryl has spent her nonprofit career supporting children and families in various front-line, supervisory, Director and Executive Director level positions. She has written several federal, state, local and foundation grants in support of organizations with which she is aligned.

Cheryl's long-standing mission is to help others reach their highest and best potential.
