Nurturing Your Creative Soul

Using the wisdom of Benedictine values, the book The Artist’s Rule by Christine Valters Painter invites us to explore the riches of a contemplative, creative life.  In this workshop we will use her book to guide us on a four-week journey.  We will learn to listen to ourselves and God in new and deeply meaningful ways and we will find voices for our own creative soul.

Each of the four sessions will combine prayer, reflection, shared understanding and artistic exploration. At home assignments will be given between sessions.  While we will be exploring a variety of artistic activities, one need not be an artist to participate.  A willingness to explore and be open to new ways of expression are all that is required!

 The full value of this experience will be gained by participating in all sessions; however, if you are not able to make all of the dates below, you will be welcomed.

 About the Pesenter

 Joanne Conway is the new coordinator of Wellspring. a volunteer position. A psychologist studying Spiritual Direction, she co-leads Wellspring's Women Connecting program.
