Let the Silence Teach You

Our annual retreat to Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, New York is March 15-17, Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Our Deacon, the Rev. Carol Duncan, and the Rev. Susan Cole invite parishioners to join them for a Lenten meditative adventure.

This is a mostly-silent retreat called, “Let the Silence Teach You.” Come enjoy a spiritual respite on the banks of the Hudson River. Find renewal in the soothing daily cycle of Benedictine Prayer in the lovely chapel. Sit, read, rest, reflect in the lovely spaces of the monastery. Schedule time with a Brother of the order for Spiritual Direction or a conversation with Carol or Susan. Did we mention that the food is fabulous?!

Carpools can also be arranged. Adults and teenagers are all welcome to attend.

The total cost for the weekend is $215. A $50 deposit is due by February 10, 2019 and is REQUIRED to hold your space. The deposit is non-refundable. Deposit may be paid through PayPal on this registration page.

If you'd like to pay by check or cash, please turn it in to the office and you'll then be given an access code to register here. Checks can be made out to Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields with the note "Holy Cross Retreat."

The full remaining balance of $165 is due by Sunday, February 24, 2019. Once your deposit has been made you'll receive a PayPal invoice for this remainder with the above due date.
