Day 1

 Blame it on the ‘rona: Ethical Issues in Daily Practice This live webinar will cover many of the daily ethical issues that confront a taxpractitioner. Circular 230 topics will be included such as questions involving clientrecords, fees, conflicts of interest, practice of law, and tax advisor best practices.Attendees will review a series of real life scenarios and discuss the resolution ofthese examples.

Understanding Self Directed IRAs and Avoiding Prohibited Transactions This live webinar course will cover self-directed individual retirement accounts(SDIRA). It explores how a SDIRA is established, the types of SDIRA available, and their tax treatment. Tracey will focus on the consequences of prohibited transactions and how to avoid them. Participants will also review TaxCourt Cases that explain how taxpayers run afoul.

Day 2

Small Business Retirement Plans This will cover the three broad areas of retirement plans (IRA based plans, Defined Contribution Plans, and Defined Benefit Plans) along with several varieties under each broad category. Participants will learn: 

  Key Advantages of each plan   How they are set up  Employee and Employer Contribution limits          Compliance and reporting for each plan  Withdrawal options  Tax consequences

 The Dubious Dozen: Key Tax Milestones in the 12 years leading up to RMDs This course will focus on tax advantaged strategies between theages of 60-72 and how a dynamic distribution strategy can add years to a portfolio. Participants will learn:

 High level asset allocation and location strategies for maximum taxbenefits  How Social Security factors into the strategy and how it becomes taxable at various levels  Capital gains tax rates and how to use them to the client’s advantage  How to educate clients about their finances and how taxes impact their long term goals.
