 During the Experiential Site Visits participants will:

• Understand the role the district plays in supporting the overall transformation of schools
• Gain insights into how LCAP funding is used to incentivize and sustain continuous improvement
• Get a first-hand look at the Linked Learning components in action including the academic and career technical integration, the role and use of work-based learning and how students receive the supports needed
• Analyze the learning and teaching in a Linked Learning environment for how it includes projectbased instruction and an interdisciplinary approach .,
• Understand how work-based learning compliments the instruction
• Gain perspective from teachers and students on successes and challenges

9:15 -10:00 District Overview- Dr. Chris Steinhauser, Pete Davis, Cynthia Bater    
10:00-11:00 Central Support Systems Overview – “Speed dating rounds”
• Professional Development for Project-based Learning
• Work-based Learning Supports
• Student recruitment and enrollment /Middle School supports 
• Continuous Improvement through leadership team and annual review 
11:00-11:30 Reflection Time 
11:30-12:30 Lunch with District Staff 
12:30-1:00 Travel to school site  
1:00-2:30 Site Visit 
2:30-3:00  Reflection and Q & A
3:00-5:00 Travel back to San Diego County
