Changing Climate: Changing…Well…Everything
Since the mid-1970s, the average global temperature has increased about 1.7 degrees F. In response to this rapid warming, much is changing on our planet with dire results.
Our speaker, Dr. Terry L. Root, is Professor Emerita at Stanford University. She was a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change 4th Assessment Report that was co-awarded the Nobel Peace Prize with Vice President Al Gore in 2007. Spirit of Defenders Award for Science by Defenders of Wildlife in 2010.
