This program will explore the challenges facing bonds and the traditional 60/40 portfolio, will provide an introduction to options, and discuss the various ways that option-based mutual funds and ETF's can benefit a portfolio.

Given the historically low yields on bonds, fixed income is highly unlikely to provide adequate returns going forward.  Bonds will be challenged to perform the dual role of capital preservation and income that investors have relied upon for decades.  Options-based strategies have attracted interest and assets as investors look for new solutions for downside protection and income.
