Tax Gone Wild!

Navigating the Changing Landscape

Presented by:

The tax world is in flux in a way that hasn’t been seen for at least a generation. The Federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has brought new questions and ambiguities alongside its significant cuts and reforms. The United States Supreme Court is revisiting fundamental state tax nexus questions. The Arkansas Tax Reform and Relief Legislative Task Force is considering major changes to make the state’s tax system fairer and more competitive. The Department of Finance and Administration is planning revisions to sales tax regulations. Taxpayers’ rights to litigate state tax disputes are threatened by sovereign immunity. And of course there are all of the “normal” cases, administrative developments, and recurring issues that taxpayers are seeing.

Learn from our recognized instructors as they deliver an engaging overview of state and federal changes, updates, trends, and opportunities. This half-day program will highlight federal tax reform, state tax reform tax force discussions, newly developed opportunity zones, sales tax nexus, business taxes and incentives, what sovereign immunity means for taxpayers, and more. You will leave with practical ideas that you can readily “take home” and apply to your company or clients.
