SCORE and the Women’s Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance, in cooperation with KINEXUS invite owners interested in selling their business, and those interested in buying one, to join us for an informative morning, Saturday, May 20th.

Learn the factors to consider when putting your business up for sale, and how different buyers could affect your sale. Equally important, learn how to determine the value of a business from both the seller’s and the buyer’s perspective.

Your business is likely the single most valuable asset you own. What would happen if you were no longer in the picture? This workshop will look at the causes, and practical solutions for selling your business, and includes:

  • Why it’s important to start with the end in mind
  • Protecting your business from death or disability of a key person
  • The parties involved in the sales process, from both the seller’s and buyer’s perspective
  • How different buyers (family, partner, third party) affect the sale process
  • How to get started on selling the business
