2019 Real.Strong.Girls. Winter Lock-In
Would you like a fun, interactive, and informative safe place for your daughter to interact with her peers and influential women in the community? If so, consider registering your girl(s), ages 10 to 14, for the Real.Strong.Girl Lock-In on February 23-24, 2019 at the YWCA in Gary, Indiana. Admission is free for all girls thanks to the support of Lake Area United Way and The Links Incorporated — Northern Indiana Chapter.
On Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 7:00pm, we are taking over Gary’s YWCA. We have the entire building and are planning a night full of games and activities that help girls identify and recognize their power. Doorsopen at 7:00pm. Girls not staying overnight must be picked up by 11pm. The Lock-In concludes at 7:00am Sunday, February 24th.
All participants must have a signed permission slip from their parent/guardian. Please also be aware that senstive topics may be discussed in some of the breakout sessions. The girls will need to bring the following items with them to the Lock-In.
- Sleeping bag
- Pajamas
- Pillow
- Blanket
- Swim Wear
- Pool Towel
- Bag for wet swim wear
- Flip flops
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Brush or Comb
- Slippers
