LaToya Nkongolo presents Utilizing Family Peer Support Specialists to Support Substance Use Disorder Patients
LaToya Nkongolo is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor. She has worked in the fields of addiction and mental health for 20 years as a clinician and administrator. Leading a workgroup to develop a 21-hour curriculum consisting of specialized training for Maryland's Certified Peer Recovery Specialist-Family (CPRS-F) endorsement is one of her many accomplishments. LaToya is the immediate past president of the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-Health Professionals Certification Board, and the owner of Work Life Behavioral Health Clinic located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Early registration is $15.00 until August 9. During the week of the event, registration is $20.00. The cost includes lunch, training and 2 CEUs.
