DIY - Hire a Professional

This is a series of four modules targeted at the following individuals so they can create an internet presence:

  • Small Businesses with no web presence                                                                                        
  • Businesses with limited needs and resources                                                                                         
  • SCORE Chapter members so they can guide their clients

This second of four modules discusses hiring a professional to design or upgrade your website rather than doing it yourself.  We cover:Web Design

  2. Terms and resoursec you  need to recognize
  3. How to determine your website needs  Objectives and scope                       Budget Considerations                    Maintenance and updates            
  4. Finding potential developers
  5. The developer selection process -  Evaluation criteria                            Vendor proposals
  6. Contract and Agreement terms

At the end of this session you will be able to decide whether DIY is right for you or if your should hire a Professional to design your website for you!

The FOUR modules of the DIY Website series are:  $25 each or $75 for all four.

4. DIY - Find Your Website (simple SEO)   Study the five ways your site is found on the internet and consider steps to enhance your internet presence.
