Whole Hog Butchering Class

Whole Hog Butchering Class at Bolzano Artisan Meats
Thinking about getting your own whole or half hog from a farmer someday but just overwhelmed with so much pig? Or maybe you're a big foodie and curious about exactly where all the wonderful cuts of pork come from?

This unique class will be a chance to come to our facility and follow along as Scott Buer and the class turn a whole pasture-raised heirloom hog into finished cuts ready for the table. Plenty of hands-on cutting time in involved for anyone interested.

And where does all the pork go at the end of class? Home with the students, naturally! Very roughly each student gets about 12 lbs. of final cuts, and on top of that there are bones for soup, and sometimes other parts like liver, heart, tongue and leaf lard too.

Class size is limited to 8 participants. Please email Scott at info(at)bolzanomeats.com with any questions. Class may be cancelled if not filled. Full refund will be made for cancelled classes. If class is full, other dates may be open, so please check back to other dates on the website. Please complete payment at time of registration-if you don't the resistration system automatically drops you after a few days.
