Advocating for Breathable Neighborhoods--Corvallis

Are you concerned about air quality in your neighborhood? Come join local community groups and the EPA for an evening of community based-learning on how to advocate for your right to breathe clean air. Food, childcare, and translation services will be provided.

About

A 3-hour workshop to share information and build know-how to advocate for clean air. Presentations by the US EPA, the Oregon DEQ and local air quality and envioronmental health experts.

Our focus is to help Willamette Valley residents learn about newly proposed laws that will impact the air you breathe and your health.  Attending this workshop will help you and other community members submit strong and clear comments about air pollution that affects you.  Your opinion and experience is important to shape the final rules. The public comment period starts October 15 and ends in December.

Together, we can be informed advocates for health-based air quality standards in Oregon, especially for marginalized communities most impacted by air pollution.
