Employment Standards and Workplace Health and Safety 

As part of the Ministry of labour (MOL)'s ongoing commitment to provide compliance support for small business, ministry representatives will present a two-hour information session to provide an overview of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Delivered by subject matter experts from MOL's employment standards and occupational health and safety programs, the session will cover key topics including hours of work, public holidays, leaves of absence, getting help making the workplace safe, information regarding injury reporting, instector visits, and more.
