BACKGROUND: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) gives businesses across the world an equal opportunity and a level playing field, to compete for the prime spot in Google search results. SEO is the most commonly adopted method to increase website traffic at no cost.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This workshop is for businesses planning to launch a new website or have a website but are looking for help with ranking higher on search engines.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: The 1^st half of this workshop will be a presentation introducing the basic concepts of SEO and its role in online marketing. The 2^nd half of the workshop will include a practice session utilizing Google’s free Keywords Planner tool, where attendees will learn how to research and identify an effective set of keywords to implement in their own marketing strategy.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR 

Jatin Patro is the Founder of the website, e-commerce, and marketing  platform SharedMall. He is a Computer Science graduate with 20+ years of experience in hi-tech industry, including 14 yrs. at Intel, and 8 yrs. helping small businesses succeed online.
