Learn how to accelerate your business plan, or even eliminate the need for it. We will build your Business Model and discuss it among a group of folks like you. Good for startups as well as established businesses.

BACKGROUND: Understanding your business model is critical to your positioning with customers and against competitors. This workshop will lead you through construction and provide analysis.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This workshop is for entrepreneurs, business owners, product marketing managers and product development managers.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Why your business model is important and how it fits with a business plan:

  • What is your Business Model.
  • How the Business Model can be used in your planning.
  • What are your key Customer Segments.
  • What are the Value Propositions you provide to those segments.
  • How Customer Discovery and Customer Validation are achieved using the Business Model.

Presenter: Ken Norland

Ken Norland has been a senior executive in several financial services and technology firms. He is most recently an AdjunctProfessor teaching the Lean Startup Methodology and Business Plans for California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. He also assisted participants in their co-working space HUB 101 as a mentor and instructor on entrepreneurship.
