Our guest speaker for this event will be Dr. Stewart Behie. Dr. Behie joined Oxy in 2012 as their Manager, AI/HES Training and Development and then moved into the role he currently holds as Manager, Safety and Process Risk in the corporate HES Risk Management Group in Houston. Prior to working with Oxy, Dr. Behie worked in the Middle East for 10 years, six years as Field HES Manager for onshore and offshore operations with Dolphin Energy in Qatar and three years as Technical Team Lead with Zakum Development Company, a major offshore oil production company in Abu Dhabi. This was preceded with a Senior Risk and Safety Engineering role in St. John's working on the first FPSO project off the NE coast of Newfoundland. Dr. Behie holds a Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degree in Chemical Engineering.
