Explore the wonderful world of teen services! Learn who teens are today and what they are interested in, discuss best practices for programming with teens, review the Common Core and how to connect with your local schools, and investigate current trends in teen publishing.

Trainers: Amber Holley, Jennifer Parker and Elizabeth McConney, Artistic Literacy

Artistic Literacy is a group of librarians, artists, and educators who are committed to teaching others how to connect art to literacy through programming. Elizabeth McConney and Amber Holley both have years of experience working in libraries and providing programs for teens and tweens.

NEFLIN classes are open to library staff in Florida only.

Cost: NEFLIN classes are free of charge for Florida library staff. Registration is required for all classes and NEFLIN members get priority.
