Copyright and Online Teaching: Strategies for Supporting Educators and Students: Webinar (5/1/14)

The rapid rise in online course offerings presents librarians with new opportunities and challenges in providing services to educators and students. One such opportunity (and challenge!) is assisting educators with locating, licensing and linking to resources that can be used in online courses. This webinar will review the questions that may arise when using copyrighted materials in online courses and the various alternatives available for royalty-free or license-free materials.

Virtual Trainer: Christine Fruin, Scholarly Communications Librarian, UF

Christine Fruin is Associate University Librarian for Scholarly Communications at the University of Florida. An attorney and a librarian, Fruin regularly speaks and writes on matters of copyright law, open access and other scholarly communication issues.
