Today’s libraries are virtual and mobile as well as physical and require us to extend our service beyond our doors. We know that libraries continue to remain a vital part of our community, our schools, our campuses, and cities; and that library staff play a major role in promoting what libraries have to offer. For library staff that may not be familiar or experienced with providing library outreach services, the NEFLIN Outreach Interest Group proposes to develop a quick guide or resource. The purpose of the resource will be to provide guidance for librarians and staff that will aid them in developing an outreach plan and forming partnerships within their communities. This meeting is meant to move us forward toward creating this guide.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members. Registration is required for all meetings.
